I have a little question : I was thinking working with Montjart (montjart.deviantart.com/), I have see you commission him for some nice artwork.
Can I ask if you was happy about how he works ? I mean the final result is splendid, but is it perfect for you ? Did he listen your recommandations ? Giving ideas too ? Make a good number of sketchs before the final result ?

Mont is not an asshole but nor is he a nice person. A lot of artists see themselves as gods. That once they get power and popularity, rules and laws don't apply to them anymore. They can live like gods making people grovel at their feet. Kind of like celebrities
Mont when I last talked to him, wasn't quite like that YET. Witchking ans Upshdragoon were far worse than him
That said he still wasn't great. Personally I think FanOfTill is a lot better and does art much better than he does
Mont will charge an arm and a leg for his work. He will not negotiate. If you don't like that then he wouldn't care as he would have an entire line up of people willing to bend over backwards for him
Yes I think he's good but I think Fan is better in all senses of the term including as a better artist
Also Mont will charge crazy super high and this is all just for a no background single pic. He will keep charging more if you want to have a full pic
He's basically EA charging full price but removing 3/4 of the content and wanting a lot more money if you want the full content

Wow thanks for your feedback for Montjart. True that his prices are not the lowest, but was mainly interested by his kind of works and style. I suppose that if I want to commission him I will have to be clear about my feedback and what I'm lookking for.
